This place is delicious! We ended up at it by accident after leaving the Oyster House feeling completely not welcomed. We had our baby with us and apparently they don't allow kids in that restaurant, they may want to post that instead of making people feel so uncomfortable by the rude fashion in which they let you know that your child is not allowed there. At any rate they told us to go to the Chuckanut and we loved it. The food was great, the service was amazing, the ambiance was great....5 stars across the board! Best of all it's family friendly!
I went in hungry during happy hour and enjoyed a margarita, oysters on the half shell, a fried halibut taco,mussles with truffle fries. Everything including the margarita with homemade lime mix was over the top. I expected one thing to stand out above and beyond but I can honestly say everything was 5 star. The wait staff all pitched in and it didn't matter if they were assigned to my table or not.Great food and service, highly recommended...

We came for the Sunday brunch. It was a perfect summer day and we sat outside and we indulged ourselves with too much of everything. Desserts, traditional breakfast food and seafood. The staff is wonderful and the food is lovely. Definitely something to be experienced!
